This is a short tip:
The Program Compatibility Wizard is for programs designed to run on an operating system older than Windows XP. You can use the wizard to help the programs work on your Windows XP Machine. Here is how to find the Program Compatibility Wizard.
To find the program compatibility wizard:
- Click Start
- Click All Programs
- Click Accessories
- Click Program Compatibility Wizard
Just follow the easy on screen instructions and you are set. Note: Some programs still may not run after using the wizard, play around with it and see if you can get it to work. If you can't then you may not be able to use that software anymore.
